It is worrisome to those of us who use computers constantly, to accept how easily we can be victims of cyber attacks on our computers.
Recently, just a few days after government agents took control of a network of computers hackers were using to victimize computer users with Crypto Locker, which is malware known as “ransom ware,” that encrypts the contents of computing devices so hackers can demand a ransom to decrypt it.
According to a recent article in the New York Times, “security researchers are seeing an influx of another form of ransom ware, called Cryptowall.”
