On February 28, 2013 a St. John the Baptist jury found Mr. Rodney Washington NOT GUILTY in the death of a La Place man that occurred back in 2010. Thanks to the vigorous defense provided by his attorney Martin E. Regan, Jr., during a very difficult trial, Mr. Washington will have the opportunity to reunite with his family once again. Mr. Washington was facing first-degree murder charges in La Place, Louisiana and one count of attempted first degree murder in the shooting of Carolyn Coleman, 50, also of La Place. Attorney Regan, who has more than 36 years of experience in the practice of criminal defense, was able to demonstrate to the jury that Mr. Washington acted in self defense and not with criminal intent. Martin E. Regan, Jr. proved once again that experience matters when it comes to defending the difficult cases! 2 March 2013
