June 20, 2014President Barack Obama said on Tuesday he will sign an executive order barring federal contractors from discriminating against employees based on their sexual orientation, but told gay rights activists they need to keep up the pressure on Congress to pass a broader law, Reuter’s reported.
The President cannot unilaterally impose this policy upon the entire nation. Only Congress can make this type of discrimination illegal across our county.
The haven’t and the Republicans won’t.
